combines the care taking of Signature Massage with the full-body stretching and relaxation of yoga. For a Mat Massage, you wear comfortable loose clothing, and are on a mat on the floor.


People describe this type of massage as “having yoga done to you,” as it involves moving  your body into passive stretch poses while you experience the benefits effortlessly. Margaret uses her body weight, hands, knees, elbows, forearms, compression and rocking techniques to invite your body to release tension and pain.

Mat Massage is a dynamic experience that draws on Margaret’s training in Thai Yoga Massage, Shiatsu massage, Yoga, and Sports Massage techniques. Depending on your needs, your Mat Massage may include joint mobilization, rocking, thumbing your meridians, compression, and stretching. These techniques work many parts of your body at the same time to safely and gently relax, stretch, and lengthen.
